Necesidades a cubrir

The Linux Professional Institute's LPI training programme is specifically designed to provide the knowledge and skills necessary to administer any Linux operating system distributions and their associated tools. LPIC-1 is the first certification in LPI's multi-level professional programme. This level will validate the candidate's ability to perform command-line maintenance tasks, install and configure a Linux-based system and basic network configuration. To be certified, candidates must be able to install and maintain a Linux workstation, including X11 and its configuration as a network services client. Demonstrate knowledge of working from the command line, including the most common GNU and Unix commands. Management of files and their access permissions and the execution of simple maintenance tasks.

Prerrequisitos

Basic knowledge of operating systems management.

This official online course is the training and certification itinerary designed by the prestigious international organisation Linux Professional Institute (LPI) for the correct preparation of its professional-level LPIC-1 certification.

Competencias a desenvolver

Developed with a focus on practice-based learning, the course will provide students with access to tools to carry out a multitude of laboratories and real scenarios that are proposed throughout the training, both with distributions based on Debian and RedHat (CentOS).

Metodoloxía

Online training - tutored access to theoretical content and practical laboratories. The laboratories can be viewed through recorded sessions that participants can replicate on their computers.

To access the contents, participants must have a web browser and an Internet connection. To follow the labs, it is recommended to have a computer with sufficient requirements to be able to work with a virtual machine (Virtualbox, for example), which will be managed through Vagrant.
