On 28 September 2020, a contract was signed between CIXUG and The Mathworks, S.L., to supply licences for the right to use MATLAB software.

All PDI (teaching and research personnel), PAS (administrative and service personnel) and students of the universities of A Coruña, Santiago de Compostela and Vigo can make use of MATLAB software. Under the signed contract, they will be able to use the different products of the family by contacting the technical team of the three universities or simply through the provider's website. By simply having an email account from one of the universities' domains, they will be able to access the application.

This contract will be valid for three years and will start its operation from 1 October 2020 until 30 September 2023.
